dc.descriptionUsing Mexican survey data, a dynamic econometric model is estimated to test the effect of IRCA, NAFTA and border control expenditures on the flow of female and male migrant farm and non-farm labor from rural Mexico to the United States. We test for differential effects on male and female migration.
