This work objective was esteem the eggs production level, utilizating a model, with base in environmental parameters, for several representative places of Paraná State/Brazil, identifying the areas with better environmental aptitude for this activity. Climatological Normal data of the period from 1961 to 1990 were used. Among the analyzed places, Maringá, Castro, Curitiba and Rio Negro came as areas with better environmental potential, with potentiality of medium production above 0,76 eggs for chicken a day during the whole year. Considering every areas, the best productivity would happen between June and July, months characterized by the closer environmental condition to the thermal comfort demanded by the high productivity hens. The places that presented smaller vocation for egg production were the Foz do Iguaçu and Guaíra, both located at the west. The model foresees a fall accentuated in the productivity in the summer period, mainly in the months of January and February for both cities. Analyzing the data behavior of the compensated medium temperature, it is observed that these two place presents the most severe summers, wich medium temperature of the period always overcame the 25oC.
