The Monthly Price Update is an information product provided by the oilseeds desk of the Markets and Trade Division of FAO. It reviews the development of international prices for oilseeds, oils and meals as reflected by FAO’s price indices. In November 2023, all FAO price indices trailing the oilcrop complex increased from the previous month. While the oilseed and vegetable oil price indices remained below their respective year-earlier values, the price index for oilmeals stood nearly 8 percent above its November 2022 level.
