| dc.description | Using USDA’s ARMS data for 2006 and 2011, we determine the extent and location of U.S. high and low-technology broiler farms and estimate net returns, scale efficiency, and technical efficiency associated with technology across different operation sizes. Larger-scale high-technology farms generally economically outperformed smaller-scale low-technology farms. | |
