This document is the final report of the fourth session of the Scientific Sub-Committee of the Fishery Committee for the Eastern Central Atlantic (CECAF), which was held in Accra, Ghana, from 24 to 26 October 2005. Major topics discussed were: (i) the reports of the three working groups on artisanal fisheries, small pelagics and demersal species respectively; (ii) fisheries management measures in the CECAF region; (iii) contribution of fisheries to National Economies (SFLP); (iv) review of progr ess on the CECAF Project; and (v) future programme of work in the region.
