| dc.description | The project was designed to tackle challenges facing farmers’ livelihood in the Nineveh Governorate, Iraq. Its objective aimed at increasing the resilience of farmers' livelihoods in crisis-affected, liberated areas through the rehabilitation of damaged infrastructure at the Al Jazeera irrigation scheme. The project design included five key components to achieve the expected results: i) mine action; ii) rehabilitate the damaged canals; iii) repair bridges; iv) repair Phase II and Phase III pumping stations; and v) distribute spare parts and replacement to the travelling irrigators and pumps. | |
