Resumen
Descripción
This report explores the dynamics of regional integration, inequality, and birthweight in ASEAN countries, specifically Cambodia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It begins by highlighting the positive aspects of regional integration but emphasizes persistent challenges, particularly in achieving global nutrition targets. The study focuses on asset-based inequality and infant health, utilizing household survey data and birthweight as a proxy for infant wealth. It concludes with a call for focused efforts to improve the inclusivity of regional integration and enhance the well-being of vulnerable populations in the ASEAN region.
