A synopsis based on qualitative and quantitative research on NWFP in the Comoros. Despite the difficulties encountered in the collection process, the report underlines the importance of the role played by forests in supplying nonwood forest products and services. The focus of the study is on environmental, cultural and social aspects of NWFPs.
