The crucial element which has influenced incomes in Polish agriculture is the EU assistance. Effectiveness of the funds transferred to the communes of the West-Pomeranian voivodship has been presented. The size of those funds has been related to the social and economic development of those communes. It has also been shown that the EU support funds are not being used as an effective tool for alleviating disproportions in development between communes of the given region. / Synopsis. Istotnym elementem wpływającym na sytuację dochodową polskiego rolnictwa jest pomoc unijna. Artykuł ma na celu określenie wysokości wsparcia z SPO Rolnictwo w jednostkach samorządowych o zróżnicowanym poziomie rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego na przykładzie gmin woj. zachodniopomorskiego. Wykazano, że pomoc unijna nie jest skutecznym narzędziem wyrównywania różnic w układzie intraregionalnym pomiędzy gminami.
