This Country gender profile of the agricultural and rural sectors in Ghana analyses gender-related disparities in access to: credit and financial services;technologies and innovations; extension and information services; ownership and control of land and farm enterprises; the effect of climate change on farming activities; and social protection to strengthen the resilience of food systems. It provides a baseline for monitoring the implementation of the SDGs and the National agricultural investment plans and informs the country reporting on CEDAW. The data, information and policy recommendations contained in this National profile of agriculture andrural livelihoods will be used to improve policy, programming and action plans in the sector.
