This bibliography supplements CECAF/ECAF Series/75/1: "A bibliography of West African marine fisheries and fishery oceanography", published by FAO in April 1975. It contains 1012 citations, presented in the same format as the above publication; the indexes are based on the same criteria. Taken together, the two publications therefore constitute a reference tool to 3055 papers which deal with the fisheries of the eastern-central Atlantic. Except where indicated by an asterisk (*), each citation has been validated against the original publication. It is hoped that there are no serious errors in citations where this has not been possible, or significant omission. Like its predecessor, this bibliography is an output of ASFIS, FAO's "Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Information System".
