The report on the first meeting of The Indo-Pacific Fisheries Council, held in Singapore from the 24th to 31st March, is presented. The Council’s Rules of Procedure were adopted and a chairman and Vice-Chairman were elected. The Council provisiolly appointed two technical committees. A budget was also approved.
