This collection of articles is the third such volume resulting from investigations carried out by member of the Inter-American Working Group on the Shootborer Hypsipyla grandella (Zeller). The contents of this volume reflect the growth of the Working Group's research on this tropical forest insect which affects some of the more important tree species of the Mahogany familiy, Meliacese.
Esta colección de artículos es el tercer volumen de este tipo resultante de las investigaciones realizadas por un miembro del Grupo de Trabajo Interamericano sobre el Shootborer Hypsipyla grandella (Zeller). El contenido de este volumen refleja el crecimiento de la investigación del Grupo de Trabajo sobre este insecto del bosque tropical que afecta a algunas de las especies arbóreas más importantes de la familia de la caoba, Meliacese.
