dc.description
Forest Kids is an educational video game created to teach children about the importance of forests to life on Earth. These fun minigames are suitable for use in educational settings and at home. Forest Kids is available for free in six languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Spanish and Russian. Downloading Forest Kids is easy! Visit the App Store, Google Play or our website at (www.fao.org/forest-resources-assessment/ForestKids/). This game has been funded by the European Union, and it has been produced with the support of the European Space Agency and the technical collaboration of Avoin Ry. The Forest Kids colouring booklet was created to further engage children in discovering forests and biodiversity by personalizing the forests, flora and fauna featured in the video game, as well as to learn age-accessible facts about the four featured biomes (arid, boreal, temperate and tropical). Use your imagination to bring forests to life with the Forest Kids colouring booklet!
