Major issues and constraints facing forestry are discussed and the outlook for the sector is presented. The "most likely" future scenario for forest product supply and demand is presented, drawing on the findings of other major international and regional institutions such as ITTO, the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank. Appendices provide the major t rade statistics for the region.
