The 2026–2027 Action Plan outlines FAO’s commitment to supporting Small Island Developing States (SIDS), Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), grounded in the Organization’s overarching strategic vision and operational framework. Fully aligned with the FAO Strategic Framework 2022–2031, the Action Plan is guided by Priority Programme Areas that shape FAO’s technical and policy interventions across countries and regions. Within this framework, selected Programme Priority Areas provide a focused and integrated approach to advancing agrifood systems transformation, strengthening resilience, and accelerating sustainable development outcomes in SIDS, LDCs and LLDCs.
