Descripción
The scarcity of high-quality and timely agricultural data at national level hampers the effort of governments and organizations to develop robust policies that are based onempirical evidence. Furthermore, the dearth of such information prevents the measurement of progress against the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators and other national, regional and international development indicators. This short flyer provides a snaphot on FAO's work in supporting countries in their efforts to improve and strengthen their nationalstatistical systems and to enable access to agricultural statistics.
