dc.descriptionThe study develops a county-level spatial lag model that analyzes factors affecting location and production of the U.S. broiler industry. The spatial lag coefficient was found to be positive and significant in the model indicating spatial dependency of the geographically concentrated U.S. broiler industry within the Southeast.
