From February to June, 2018, the project 052 has made many progress and this newsletter is an introduction of these actions and achievements.
We conducted 4 conferences on capacity building of Nature Reserve (NR) staff on conservation and personnel management. We established Wannian County Huyun Tundra Swan Nature Reserve. We also achieved cooperative management of water bodies for conserving migratory bird habitats between the Poyang Lake National Reserve (PLNNR) and Nanji NR.
During this period, we also held relevant activities. We organized World Wetland Day and Bird –loving Week publicity activities, conducted surveys of migrating birds& Water Deer, awarded advanced organizations and individuals for 2016-2017 winter migratory birds and wetland conservation and so on.
In the end, this newsletter also contains an introduction of wetland ecosystem, fauna and flora.
