They were carried out studies in the period understood among the years 2008 at the 2010, initially under experimental conditions of the UBPC “Los Palacios” to determine the promissory cultivars for the ratoon cultivation, being evaluated in 26 cultivars the number of fertile shafts, yields of the initial cultivation and ratoon. In the obtained results it is demonstrated that all the proven cultivars produce shafts after the crop of the main cultivation, and a group of them they take place but of 250 fertile children for square meter, the agricultural yields of humid rice of the sprout between 2,5 and 4,27 t ha -1 with alone in 69 at 80 days of cultivation. The total production of the cultivars IAC-36, INCA LP-2, INCA LP-4, INCA LP-5, INCA LP-7 and J-104 in both crops overcome 10 t ha -1 totals, being able to recommend for their use in production condition.
