| dc.description | El estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar la gobernanza del recurso hídrico en la cuenca alta del río Apurímac, Perú con énfasis en el desarrollo de conflictos asociados al uso, acceso y aprovechamiento del mismo. Las deficiencias en la gobemanza e institucionalidad han favorecido el surgimiento de conflictos en la cuenca, como el de Majes Siguas, un conflicto local regional, generado por una disputa por el derecho de uso del agua, por divergencia entre los intereses de la región Cusco y Arequipa y los enfoques de desarrollo de ambas regiones. Se proponen un conjunto de estrategias y acciones para mejorar la gobemanza del recurso hídrico en la zona de estudio y para la solución del conflicto Majes Siguas. The study aimed to analyze the governance of water resources in the upper reaches of the Apurimac river in Peru, with emphasis on the development of conflicts associated with the use, access and use of the same. The deficiencies in governance and institutions have favored the emergence of conflicts in the basin, such as the Majes Siguas local regional conflict, generated by a dispute over the right to use water, for divergence between the interests of the Cusco region and Arequipa and approaches to development of both regions. It is proposed a set of strategies and actions to improve governance of water resources in the stndy area and for the resolution of the conflict Majes Siguas. | |
