The third Independent Food Systems Summit Dialogue on "Pathways for the future of Sustainable Food Systems in the Mediterranean", co-organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM), Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA), and One Planet Network’s Sustainable Food Systems Programme (OPN-SFSP), will be held on 9 December 2021. The event is conceived as a follow-up to the two other dialogues held in April and June 2021, as well as to the whole UN Food Systems Summit process in the context of the Mediterranean region.
The virtual event will bring together different stakeholders in order to take stock of regional and national efforts as a follow-up to the UN Food Systems Summit in the Mediterranean region, and exchange on the way forward and on opportunities for collaboration at national and regional level.
