The issue spotlights Georgia’s celebration of World Food Safety Day 2025 with a science-focused event, highlighting efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance and enhance laboratory roles in food safety. It also covers the strategic discussions between FAO and Georgia’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture on advancing ongoing projects; the rollout of the Farm Management System (FMS) - a new digital tool designed to optimize livestock farming and a kickstart of the new project focused on women farmers in Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti to receive targeted support through new Farmer Field Schools is also covered.
