Seminar to brief FAO's Permanent Representatives - FAO is organizing an inter-agency seminar on 14 May 2008 to brief FAO Permanent Representatives on the current status of avian influenza and lessons learned in efforts to prevent and control the disease. The FAO Deputy Director-General will make the welcoming address and there will be presentations from OIE, WHO, Inter Agency coordination UNSIC and the Egypt's Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
