Descripción
The sustainable management and restoration of production systems –forests, agroforestry, rangelands, crops and grasslands– and their associated natural resources –water, soil, and biodiversity– provide multiple goods and services with ecological, social and economic benefits for land users and managers. Land users/managers – farmers, livestock keepers, foresters - who develop and maintain healthy soils and make effective use of water resources and biodiversity, have more means to adapt to clim ate change and are better buffered against extreme events such as drought.
