Initiated by CTA and FAO, this survey is a follow-up to a workshop organised to identify the major challenges facing rural radio in Africa. The survey focuses on four main areas: training needs in rural radio; national expertise in radio programme-making; existing training materials and resource persons; and the development of a rural radio training programme.
