The newsletter provides updates and highlights on activities of FAO between October and December 2022 to address the humanitarian needs in the country. The highlights in this issue include updates on FAO's emergency response in 2022, rangeland rehabilitation for increased biomass and biodiversity, Solar Passive Houses for improved energy efficiency of households, improved livestock living conditions to keep deseases at bay, a range of livestock interventions to maximise production output, new Japan’s funding to boost food security in Kapisa and Panjshir Provinces, supporting women-headed households for increased food and nutrition security, and completed construction of Musahi Irrigation Scheme.
