Descripción
Se identifican brevemente las principales actividades realizadas por el Instituto en Chile durante el 2022, con respecto a las necesidades e interés del país; colaboró con la implementación del Estándar de Sustentabilidad para Predios Lecheros en Chile; promovió e implementó el Sistema Intensivo de Cultivo de Arroz (SICA); implementó sistemas de producción de biofertilizantes, mediante los cuales los productores mejoraron la calidad de sus suelos agrícolas; se avanzó en el uso del Sistema de Riego con Vasijas de Barro; Bajo las estrategias del “IICA de Puertas Abiertas se implementó un sistema circular de obtención de agua; contribuyó para que las lideresas mapuches implementaran huertas hortícolas con la tecnología de riego ancestral; entre otros proyectos que apoyaron conceptos de economía circular, fortalecimiento de capacidades al sectora agropecuario, control de alimnetos y producción nacional y sistemas de extensión de nutrición.
The activities carried out by the Delegation during 2022 are briefly identified, focus to needs and interest of the country; collaborated with the implementation of the Sustainability Standard for Dairy Farms in Chile; promoted and implemented the Intensive Rice Cultivation System (SICA); implemented biofertilizer production systems, through producers improved the quality of their agricultural soils; use of the Irrigation System with Clay Pots; Under the strategies of the “IICA Open Doors” implemented a circular system to obtaining water; contributed to the Mapuche leaders to implement vegetable gardens with ancestral irrigation technology; among other projects that supported circular economy concepts, capacity building for the agricultural sector, food control and national production, and nutrition extension systems.
