This country report covers the overall situation of fuelwood in Senegal. The first part of the report is a general introduction followed by a part explaining the organisation of forest exploitation in the country. The second part of the report gives an idea of the consumption of charcoal while the third part states the results obtained from recent research. A short conclusion is given.
