The scale-up note on the partnership between FAO and the University of Liège illustrates the most important results achieved through this strategic collaboration including the enhancement of capacities and resilience in African francophone communities. The activities targeted several areas such as zoonotic and plant diseases, climate change, rural youth, sustainable development, natural resources, and food security and fostered the development of publications, co-mentoring of PhD students, and the enhancement and strengthening of curricula. Among others, it is important to note that the activities presented strong links with Sustainable Development Goals 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 17.
