Vulnerability and conservation and restoration priority area maps for 78 native tree species in Kenya Methodology:Species distribution models were used to estimate the spatial distribution of the species and the exposure to climate change. Openly accessible spatial datasets were used to estimate the exposure to current threats (overexploitation, overgrazing, fire and habitat conversion). A trait-based sensitivity score was used to estimate the species-specific sensitivity to each of the threats. Vulnerability was calculated as the product of exposure and sensitivity.
