The reformers of the CUP are convinced that inter-organizational relations of the agricultural households
and their potential will facilitate and quicken transformation processes which foster the creation of balanced
and effective agriculture in European regions. In the new paradigm of agriculture: mobilization, restructuring
and diversification of the households’ internal resources is possible due to the external resources available
in the farmers’ social networks. The paper is a trial to identify competitions’ potentials and cooperation of
the merchandise agricultural households from Opole region. By using the data from the empirical research
from 2013 and 2008 the intentions of the managers concerning the improvement of the competitiveness of the
managed agricultural households has been shown and the role of the cooperation in this process has been set.
