| dc.description | This article presents a survey on conditions of small business development. Studies have shown that, among other things, the major constraint for starting and running a business is a financial barrier. In the test environment, in overcoming that barrier, the credit guarantee funds and loan funds play a big role. The main sources of competitiveness of the surveyed companies are price, quality of customer service and quality of product or service. Despite the prevalence of various internal and external constraints, many companies assume stabilization or development of its activities.
