| dc.description | This paper discusses planning of production and marketing in the ho~pork industry. Long, intermediate and short term planning problems are delineated. A linear programming model is presented which focuses on the intermediate term planning problem. It is suggested that such models are themselves part of the technology which will mov€ the hog-pork industry away fro~ price-coordination towards policy-coordination. | |
