Joanne Gaskell comments that the World Bank plays various roles in the areas of science and technology, agricultural innovation, and ecosystems in the region. She explains that the bank serves as an entity with the ability to convene, bring together different stakeholders, and share worldwide experiences with various countries in the region. It also shares successful innovation system experiences from countries outside the region. Additionally, the World Bank functions as an entity that provides financing to the agricultural sector.
