Resumen

Descripción

A discrete choice model of 1991-96 trawl groundfish fishery participation in the Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands region is developed and estimated. The model fits well, with strong risk and seasonal effects. Notably, the model uses routinely-collected data, suggesting this type of analysis can be a regular part of the management process.
