Descripción
The 2018 Socio-Economic and Food Security (SEFSec) survey was conducted by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), in coordination with the Food Security Sector (FSS)– co-led by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Food Programme (WFP) - with the support of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), and the Union of Agriculture Working Committee (UAWC). This edition of the SEFSec benefited from the contribution of the Palestine Research Institute (MAS), who led the writing of this report, in addition to conducting some of the analysis presented here. MAS’s engagement is evidence of their continued contribution to shaping the food security narrative in the country.
