dc.descriptionMagement advisory for the Bay of Bengal Indian mackerel fishery The BOBLME Project is supporting countries to implement an ecosystem approach to fisheries magement of shared fishstocks in the Bay of Bengal. The EAFM framework has three tiers: working groups to provide technical information; a Regiol Fisheries Magement Advisory Committee (RFMAC) - to interpret the information and deliver ecosystem based fisheries magement advice; and a Regiol Fisheries Magement Forum (RFMF) to deliberate on the a dvice and make decisions for tiol actions. The RFMAC comprises members from the eight BOBLME countries, SEAFDEC, FAO, BOBP-IGO and IUCN.
