The SW4SW is a Joint Initiative of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests launched at the UNFF in New York in May this year. This Initiative emerged as an outcome of the Global Meeting with the same title, held at FAO Headquarters in 2017. The initiative is jointly led by FAO (with support from the Advisory Committee on Sustainable Forest-based Industries (ACSFI)), the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO), the World Bank (WB) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). A high-level meeting will be held on Friday, 20 July, 2018 (10 am to 11.30 am) in FAO, Rome on the Sustainable Wood for a Sustainable World (SW4SW) Initiative, as part of 6th World Forest Week. This brochure is for distribution at this event.
