| dc.description | The extent to which farm exports have received assistance from the United States Government is a subject of continuing interest and controversy. Relative data on a current basis are published in the Demand and Price Situation. This article presents a comprehensive estimate and analysis of Government financing during the post-World War II period. It also discusses the relationship of Government financed exports to total agricultural exports, to the gross foreign expenditures of the United States, and to overall measures of surplus disposal. | |
