This catalogue contains a selection of 127 books from the 400 or more that FAO publishes annually. They have been selected to offer an overview of themes that have been relevant to the Organization during the course of this year. It has been a very special year for us, marking FAO’s 70th anniversary, for which reason the catalogue begins with the publication 70 YEARS OF FAO 1945-2015. This book describes the Organization’s seven-decade history, including its most significant milestones, previou sly unpublished images of its early years and its ten most important achievements of the last 70 years. The publications dealt with three cross-cutting themes for 2015: Hunger and Nutrition, Climate Change and the International Year of Soils. The catalogue also includes the FAO’s periodic reports (The State of...) and a selection of technical departments’ publications which, in short, are a global reference source for technical knowledge and statistics in the fields of agriculture, livestock, f isheries and aquaculture, food security, forestry and natural resources. A QR code accompanies many of the publications, making it possible to download them in PDF format.
