Descripción
Solomon Islands accounted for 0.003 percent of world cassava exports and was ranked 36th among exporters in 2023. Stagnating production has limited the cassava export potential of Solomon Islands. The country exports cassava at competitive prices, but only to Australia, with no market diversification. Solomon Islands can significantly increase cassava exports by diversifying markets, boosting production, enhancing value chain infrastructure, and leveraging its low export prices.
