dc.descriptionThe European Inland Fisheries Advisory Commission (EIFAC) organized a Workshop on methodology for determination of nutrient requirements in fish from 29 June to 1 July 1993 in Eichenau, Germany. There were nine consecutive technical sessions during which the various topics were introduced and discussed. These topics referred to energy, proteins and amino acids, digestion and utilization of protein and energy, lipids and essential fatty acids, carbohydrates, minerals and trace elements, vitami ns, feed additives, and application of nutrient requirement data. A series of recommendations were made concerning each of these main topics and are presented in the report together with the abstracts of the papers and posters presented during the Workshop.
