Welcome to the 7th edition of the Newsletter of the International Poplar Commission (IPC) of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. In this issue, you will find useful information on past and forthcoming conferences and meetings hosted by National Poplar Commissions of different countries, as well as other events of interest related to the production of, and research involving, poplars and willows.
The Newsletter also contains a section on scientific papers, abstracts and books related to the most recent research in the field of the family Salicaceae.
