The aim of this study was to show the changes that occurred in the group of large-scale farms functioning
in a form of agricultural production cooperatives (APC) in the years 2010-2012. Due to little availability
of information concerning this form of farms in Poland, the data for the analysis were gathered from the
database of the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics National Research Institute. This database was
created in connection with the annual publication of Top 100 APC. The analyses show that the surveyed group
of cooperatives in the years 2010-2012 improved its financial results and conducted intensive investment
processes.
