dc.descriptionThe model evaluated deleterious mutations in tetraploids under double reduction and selfing. Double reduction lowers deleterious allele frequencies, impacting gametophytic selection more than sporophytic. Loci near the centromere accumulate more mutations, being critical for inbreeding depression.
