The Agriculture Food Information System for Decision Support (AFIS), GCP/SSD/003/EC is implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of South Sudan (GRSS). This project has been designed to address the following major issues of importance to the national and state governments in addressing the capacity gaps related to: (a) food security intersectoral institutional coordination framework and information system ; and (b) the GRSS food security policy and relevant institutions’ capacity.
