dc.descriptionThe Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland contributed USD 1 018 517 to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for the implementation of project OSRO/SRL/208/UK. The objective of the project was to improve the food security of 4 847 vulnerable fishing households (19 388 people) affected by the economic crisis in Sri Lanka in the nine districts of Chilaw, Colombo, Galle, Kalutara, Mannar, Matara, Negombo, Puttalam and Tangalle.
