The project was developed with the aim of providing technical, political and institutional support to Members of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), fostering regional coordination and the exchange of experiences to advance the food and nutrition security agenda. Its implementation focused on driving the transformation of agrifood systems, enhancing climate change adaptation and mitigation, supporting socioeconomic recovery in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and lowering the cost of healthy diets – placing particular emphasis on the needs of vulnerable sectors and peoples.
