Presents results of a survey conducted in the Tcheffa valley, examining the relative importance of agricultural & pastoral activities in the area, w. emphasis on the permanent & seasonal nature of Afar & Oromo utilisation of the valley. Includes two year data pertaining to livestock populations, immigrant & resident herds, & identifies major access routes, available grazing areas, animal diseases & trends in government policy.
